Synopsis
June - September 1944. D-Day, June 6, 1944. In early morning hours, infantry carriers, including one hundred and ten ships of the Royal Canadian Navy, cross a seething, pitching sea to the coast of France while Allied air forces pound enemy positions from the air. Cherbourg, Caen, Carpiquet, Falaise, Paris are liberated. Canadians return, this time victorious, to the beaches of Dieppe.

Don't forget that you have a collage based on one of the physiographic regions of Western Canada that is due on Monday.  Additionally you must complete Activity Package 3.2 including the climate graphs.

Make sure you have completed reading the document entitled Canada's Foreign Affairs: 1939-1945  You need to complete the Canada's Foreign Affairs: 1939-1945 Questions sheet.  Activity Package 5.1 must also be completed for Monday.

The Chapter 4 Test is scheduled for Monday. Make sure you have developed a Five Paragraph Essay Outline in preparation for writing an essay on the topic: "Describe the development of Canada's foreign policy during the 1930s"  Students who have not prepared an outline will not be allowed to write the essay.  If you have not finished viewing the video Hard Times please click below and make sure you are familiar with the content.

Make sure you have prepared an essay outline for the Chapter 2 Test.  The Chapter 2 Test on Monday will consist of approximately 50 multiple choice questions and the essay.  Make sure you bring an HB pencil to class.
