Your final exam will be a 5 paragraph essay written in extended  Block 3 on the morning of January 23.  You will be provided with an essay topic and a 5 paragraph essay outline sheet on Wednesday January 18. Bring the completed essay outline sheet to the writing session on January 23 and you may refer to it while writing your essay.

All assignments up to the end of Chapter 10 are due by Wednesday January 18. Specifically this includes all assigned materials from Chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 the Review Questions for Chapters 6 and 7 as well as all the activity packages for Chapters 9 and 10.

For Monday January 16 you are to prepare a list of all 10 Canadian provinces, the names of the Premier of each province and the name of the political party which they lead, additionally you are to identify the Lieutenant-Governor for each Canadian province. Finally you are to name the Premier of each Canadian territory and the name of the Commissioner of each territory.

Law 12

All wedding projects will be due on Monday January 23. There will be no extensions.  Block 2 of Law 12 will write their Chapter 12 Test in the extended Chapter 2 Block on Thursday afternoon of January 19. Block 4 Law 12 will write their Chapter 12 Test on Monday January 23 in the extended block in the afternoon.  There will be no extensions or make-ups for missing the Chapter 12 Test.

The Chapter 5 Test is scheduled for Monday.  In preparation I would like you to finish viewing the video the New Era of Canadian Sex Work starting at the 16 minute mark. You will also need to complete the Chapter 5 Review Questions and Chapter 5 Legal Problems for Friday. The essay preparation material will be distributed in class on Friday

The Arrest Handbook Activity Package is due for completion by Friday.  On that day please bring a copy of the test you have developed in the format outlined on the Activity Package and an Answer Key for the test you developed on a separate sheet of paper.  I would suggest that you type your test so that it is easily readable by one of your classmates.  The Arrest Handbook developed by the BC Civil Liberties Association can be found by clicking here.
