Begin following Gloria Taylor's challenge to the prohibition of assisted suicide in Canada.  Begin by doing a Google News search and taking a look at the articles and comments that are being published about this court case.  Listen to the CBC public affairs program The Current as it addresses many of the issues being argued in the Court case.

In Remembrance

The last Canadian casualty of the First World War was Private George Lawrence Price of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan- the 25-year-old farm labourer was shot in the right chest by a German sniper near the Belgian city of Mons at 10:58am. This was a mere two minutes before the Armistice came into effect at 11:00am on November 11, 1918.

Price was the last of 60 000 Canadians who paid the ultimate price in the service of our nation during World War I.
